There’s a quiet joy in capturing candid moments within a crowd. I tend to sit on the periphery, waiting patiently for the right moments to emerge - a brief opening between moving figures, a flicker of an eye, a distant expression caught through a long lens. When photographing performances, I attune to the performers movements - calm and unobtrusive, so as not to disturb the audience’s experience of the present moment.
