COMMISSION WORK

I have recently collaborated on major public art commissions for the Metro Tunnel Creative Program and City of Melbourne. Working with renowned artist Maree Clarke, my role combined photography and design in collaboration with artists, architects, project managers, printers and fabricators.

Metro Tunnel Creative Program - Town Hall Station Mural (to be installed 2025)
As the lead photographer and designer on this project, I worked closely with artist Maree Clarke to develop a digital photomontage spanning 45-metres based on her vision. Over the course of a year, I photographed seasonal landscapes across the five Kulin Nation lands, documented cultural objects from the Melbourne Museum, and vectorised line drawings by Clarke’s nephew, Mitch Mahony. The final artwork is meticulously composed from over 500 layered images and vectors, and printed on glass with ceramic ink.

Narrm Ngarrgu Library - Queen Victoria Market (opened 2023)
In collaboration with Maree I worked as her designer to interpret the brief into a suite of interior artworks including lenticular framed prints, mirrored wall panels, illustrated carpets, aquatic vinyl flooring and patterned soft fall. The artworks featured traditional flora and fauna motifs symbolising the seasonal cycles of the Kulin Nations, balancing cultural storytelling with technical execution.

I'd like to pay my respects and acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands this project took place on - the five clans of the Kulin Nations - Wadawurrung, Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurung, Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung, and Bunurong / Boonwurrung - in allowing us permission to work on their country.
